Night Life

  • Portland Spirit/Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler Cruise
    • A popular sightseeing and dining experience! Tour the Downtown Portland waterfront, or Columbia River Gorge by Sternwheeler!
  • Portland Japanese Garden
    • A tranquil urban oasis, featuring eight unique garden spaces, new Cultural Village, and the Umami Cafe. When offered, public tours and exhibitions are available as well.
  • International Rose Test Garden
    • Public park with paved paths, a fountain, and a gift shop available as well. Free public tours offered daily at 1 PM from the Rose Garden Store, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
  • Lan Su Chinese Garden
    • A downtown oasis of tranquil beauty and harmony to inspire, engage and educate in the appreciation of a richly authentic Chinese culture. 
  • OHSU Tram
    • One of the only aerial commuter trams in the country. The tram runs year round!
  • Oregon Convention Center
    • The largest event venue in the Pacific Northwest, the Oregon Convention Center provides outstanding experiences by embracing the local flavor and innovative approaches.
  • Pittock Mansion
    • Pittock Mansion is a historic house museum in Portland, Oregon operated by Pittock Mansion Society in collaboration with Portland Parks & Recreation. The mission of the Pittock Mansion Society is to inspire understanding and stewardship of Portland history through Pittock Mansion, its collections, and programs.
  • Council Crest
    • One of the highest points in Portland, a great viewpoint overlooking the city and surroundings.
  • Rowena Crest
    • A very popular site for an instagram worthy shot over the horseshoe curve, and a short walk to a beautiful view of the Columbia River Gorge.
  • Crown Point State Scenic Corridor
    • A scenic strip along a historic highway, running along the Columbia River Gorge.The Vista House contains a small museum, and is a great spot to take in the beauty of the gorge on a nice day.
  • Forest Park
    • One of the largest urban forests in the United States, home to more than 80 miles of trails, fire lanes, and forest roads. 
  • Director Park
    • Located in the heart of downtown, providing an elegant, clean, versatile public space.
  • SW Park Blocks
    • 12 park blocks stretching through the heart of downtown, each featuring a different piece of art from a different artist.
  • Mill Ends Park
    • The World’s Smallest City Park
  • Tom McCall Waterfront Park
    • Right along the water, and home to the Portland Saturday market. Featuring paved biking and walking paths, and riverfront views of the city.
  • Pier Park
    • Featuring an 18 hole disc golf course, baseball field, basketball courts, skatepark, and a playground.
  • Laurelhurst Park
    • Accessible picnic area, basketball court, playground, and a dog off-leash area. A great spot to feed some ducks.
  • Cathedral City Park
    • One of the Lewis and Clark landing spots in the Portland area, and home to the St. Johns Bridge.
