Collectively, we have decided that this year\u2019s conference will be <\/span><b>virtual<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to keep everyone safe and healthy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">We are currently asking our community for feedback, which you should have received if you are on our mailing list, in the form of a survey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I highly encourage you to consider submitting a poster or a video for our Visualization Theatre, both of which will be published in the PEARC20 proceedings. Given our move to a virtual setting, we will be extending the poster deadline to <\/span><b>May 1st<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As a reminder, the following will be included in the PEARC20 proceedings: accepted papers and posters, with the submission of a 4 page paper, and Visualization Theater videos with the submission of a 2 page write up. However, the PEARC20 Committee, Steering Committee, and ACM are looking into the possibility of a virtual conference if we have to cancel the in-person meeting. Currently, there are no changes to the PEARC20 program.
